I expected the brakes to be reliable at the very least, but they failed on me twice. That felt really unsafe and made me lose confidence in the product.

I really wanted this to be better on mixed paths, but it gets shaky once you hit gravel or rough sidewalks. On smooth, flat pavement it’s totally fine, no complaints there, but the second things get bumpy it starts to feel annoying fast. Maybe I expected too much, but for the price, I thought it would handle that kind of terrain a little better.

Ordered the wrong size from RideRiptide. My bad. Sending it back was simple though. Instructions were clear, and support replied the next day.
Refund took about a week after they got it, which felt a bit long. I checked in once. Not a big issue. It all worked out

The acceleration feels nice and smooth when taking off, with no weird jerks or sudden lurches... it just feels easy to drive.

I really wanted to like this, but the hill climbing has been a big letdown. Even on average hills, it slows way down and I end up having to help it along more than I expected. The battery also drains quickly anytime there’s an incline, which makes it frustrating for my daily ride. I also didn’t love how little human contact there was when I tried to get help — it felt like I was just stuck dealing with automated responses instead of an actual person. If you live somewhere with a lot of slopes, I wouldn’t recommend it.

As someone who notices little details in how things are put together, I’d say the build feels okay overall. It’s solid enough for regular use, but a few parts do feel a bit cheap, so it doesn’t really give me that super sturdy or premium impression

I didn’t feel very comfortable using rideriptide.com. I tend to notice patterns when I’m trying a new site, and here it was little things adding up, not enough clear info, not much that made me feel reassured, and the overall experience just felt kind of vague. The more I clicked around, the more I kept questioning whether it was actually safe to trust. Maybe other people have had a better time with it, but for me it didn’t feel secure enough, and I wouldn’t use it again.

The battery takes a lot longer to charge than I expected, and it gets annoying after a while. I’m sure other customers would feel the same if they’re used to devices charging quicker.

The package showed up crushed and wet, which was disappointing. I get that things happen during shipping, but it feels like basic care should be taken to make sure someone’s order arrives in decent condition

I bought a board from RideRiptide and after just a few rides, the wheels already started feeling kinda cheap. One of the trucks also began wobbling and wouldn’t tighten properly no matter what I tried. It’s not really what I expected, and I kinda wish I had gone with something else.
